  • How to use turmeric for pigmentation of the skin.

Here are three methods of utilizing turmeric on dark skin spots.
Before implementing any of these recommended methods, it is important for users to be aware that turmeric will stain the fingernails and the skin as well. If small amounts of turmeric are used, soap & water will readily cleanse off the color. But if the skin gets in contact with a lot, it might take a few hours before the yellowish tinge fades away completely. It is best to use small amounts of turmeric until you are used to handling it.

Method No.1
One tablespoon of lemon juice
One tablespoon cucumber juice
A pinch of turmeric (powder form)
After all the three ingredients are thoroughly mixed, apply to the skin area and leave it there for 15 minutes. Afterwards, wash it off and apply all-natural moisturizing cream over the area.

Method No.2
Natural oil (castor oil, olive oil, castor, coconut oil or grape seed oil)
Turmeric powder
Make a thin paste when the ingredients are mixed together in a container. Apply to the face carefully as you would apply a mask. Leave this on for 30 minutes and then wash off thoroughly when the time has elapsed.

Method No.3
Natural oil
A small clear plastic bottle
Turmeric powder

Place natural oil inside the bottle until the container is ¾ full. Add ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder. Close the container and shake it very well. Wait for the solution to turn yellow-orange and then leave it to stand for the night so that the powder will settle. The oil that is left on the top layer can then be used on the skin. Leave it on for half an hour and wash afterwards.

Over a period of time, turmeric will greatly improve the look and feel of your skin.
